Wine & Beer Raffles
Donate a bottle of your favorite wine valued at $15 or more. It could be a wine that you purchase on discount wine day at your local liquor store or a special bottle from your own collection. Nominating Committee Needs Your Suggestions
The PTA Nominating Committee is charged with the important task of submitting a slate of officers for the next school year. The committee will be chaired by Katherine Allen. Please contact her via email(katherine.allen@lrar.com) or phone (580-8174) with your ideas for President Elect, Treasurer Elect or Secretary. Along with Katherine, the Nominating Committee members are: Shelly Rayburn, Neal Lea, Sharon Denery, Conley Golden, Leslie Fisken, Kimberly Bowman.

VIP = Very Important PreK Parents
Parking spaces on P Street in front of the school are reserved for Pre K parents who must walk their children to the classroom. There are precious few spaces, so please don't take one unless you have a Pre K child.

National History Day Winners
Congratulations to Alana Duvall whose National History Day (NHD) project took first place in the fifth-grade competition at Forest Park. Alana's project along with the other top exhibits will compete in the NHD District 7 competition at UALR on February 25. This year's theme was Revolution, Reaction, and Reform. The top eight winners and their project topics are:

2nd: Olivia Bacot, Pablo Picasso
3rd: Ann Riales Rayburn, Pickett's Charge

PTA Accolades
Teacher of the Year:
Cheryl Riley
Second-grade teacher, Cheryl Riley, was presented the Forest Park PTA Teacher of the Year award at Monday's monthly meeting. Mrs. Riley was selected for her unwavering dedication to students through exemplary teaching and a genuine concern for their success in and out of the classroom. She has also been nominated for the district and state Teacher of the Year awards. She is shown in the picture above with PTA President Sarah Cook (r) and parent Lauri Allison (l), who wrote a glowing nomination for Mrs. Riley.

Support Staff of the Year:
Homer Molden
Mr. Molden works tirelessly to keep things at Forest Park running smoothly. He is a vital member of the staff and a huge help to the PTA.
Honorary Arkansas PTA Lifetime Membership:
Cyndi Moore
Long-time Kindergarten teacher Cyndi Moore may have retired a few years ago, but she certainly hasn't forgotten Forest Park. She continues to be involved with the PTA through the 100-Year Anniversary celebration.
