Mark Your Calendar for the 2011 Holiday Parade Sunday December 4th

The weather may be close to 70 today but as we know from last week's snowstorm, winter and the holiday season will soon be upon us. Once again, MayDOG will be participating in the Annual Maynard Holiday Parade. Our walkers have increased each year and we hope to do so again this year. Please RSVP to MayDOG@Maydog.org if you wish to walk with us. If you are a fan of our Facebook page you can also sign up on the event tab. You do not have to be a member of MayDOG to walk!
The theme for this year's parade is "A Sweet Little Holiday" and in keeping with that theme we will be asking all dogs to have some candy cane colored coats or bandanas on them if possible. MayDOG's them for the parade will be "Dog Park? Yes We Cane!!
Group Walks on Meetup
We still have plenty of nice weather ahead to organize a group walk. Anyone can organize a walk and anyone can join a walk.

We have gone over 100 fans on our FACEBOOK page. Remember this is a great place to exchange information and ideas about dogs in general as well as to keep up with MayDOG.
Membership Drive - Thanks to all the new members who signed up or renewed membership at Maynard Fest. We will be hosting a member appreciation event early in 2012. Watch for details in next month's newsletter.

President's Note:
As most of you know, our primary mission has been to obtain an O.L.R.A. in Maynard.Over the last year we have made some significant steps and will continue doing so in the upcoming year. I am personally encouraged by the support shown by the Town of Maynard and our residents.
As such, we will need additional volunteers to help us in many areas. If you are interested in helping out, even a couple hours a month would be helpful, please contact me directly. Please include any special skills you may be able to offer.
(We are in specific need for technical/website help.)
