Service Projects
Shoes for Orphan Souls
Shoes for Orphan Souls has distributed millions of pairs of new shoes to vulnerable children in the US and to orphans in 69 countries around the world. Scott Tucker and Brian Mann have challenged our club with the goal of collecting at least 1400 pairs of new shoes that will be shipped to, and distributed by Shoes For Orphans Souls. Now is a great time to begin to take advantage of back-to-school shoe sales to help us collect shoes and make our goal. Of course, we will always take cash donations and then you can leave the shopping to us! Together, we can do it!
Volunteer for Your Club
Thank you to those of you who have "stepped up to the plate" and volunteered to help with areas of the club meeting. We can still use some volunteers for Club Duty Roster for September and October. So, please check your busy calendars and see if you can't take a few extra minutes and volunteer as a greeter, lead the pledge, say a prayer of blessing over us, or be the Rotarian of the Day. It's easy if you simply go to the Bixby Rotary website and on the sidebar, click "Duty Roster." Check the need and send an email according to the instruction to say you will step up and serve our club. It's easy and fun! Thank you.
For more information, you can always check our website at www.bixbyrotaryweb.com.
