Autumn/Winter 2011
It's been busy down on Jones Bay Wharf, our chef Peter Kuruvita returned in May from his second stint filming in Sri Lanka with SBS Food. The 10-part series on cooking, travel and the magic of Sri Lanka premieres on SBS Food in November. There will be events leading up to the release date so watch this space!
The seafood has been plentiful, our new winter menu has brought back some old favourites like the prawn curry and introduced some delicious new dishes like Murray cod with slow roasted Jerusalem artichokes, pencil leeks, pearl onion and red wine consommé.
Flying Fish was closed July 4th - 15th for renovations, when we reopened for dinner on Saturday the 16th of July it was like a new restaurant, staff ready to go and a smooth, perfect service.
We look forward to seeing you soon.
