Graduated and Award-winning Khalida students, woohoo! Congrats to all!!! :)
  On 20 and 21st of February Luna, Chadia, Majidah and Agatha (go team Khalida ;) graduated from Yamila's 3,5-year course for professional teachers and performers of oriental dance in Eindhoven. Congrats ladies!!
Also: On March 14th Hanaa (Hanne Moors) from Bilzen, BE won first runner-up at the Benelux Bellydance Championships in Eindhoven! Go Hanne! :)

Bellydance classes April-June: Shake it in spring :)
This season we'll have a mini-session (7 weeks) on Wednesday (one group: L2/3) and Thursday (3 groups: L2, Drills and L3/4) in Würselen.
This means we'll be up to 9 groups next session! Classes will be held in 3 locations (Geilenkirchen, Stolberg en Würselen) and our next Masterclass (L5) is planned on Friday, April 30. Lots of opportunities to shimmy :) Come and join!
Next to that there are still a few (not many!) slots available for private classes and/or group coaching with Khalida.

Khalida on tour! '1001 nights' is a yearly belly dance festival in Oslo, hosted by Siri Ydstie of Norway. This year there will be workshops and performances by Diana Tarkhan, Khalida, Trine Bjarkjoy, Siri Ydstie and many more!! See also www.1001natt.com
Event-highlight: 8 May World Bellydance Day
This yearly charity event in Tienen, BE is organised by Amirah and Saida of Belgium. There will be a whole day of workshops and performances, and the winnings will go to Cat Shelter this year. Hope to see you all there!

There will be only one Newsletter for April-May, as the coming weeks are going to be super busy, with many exciting activities and events to attend :)
End of May I will be traveling to the US for the first time, teaching in Seattle hosted by the lovely Elisa Gamal through Middle East Arts on the 22nd and performing on Friday the 21st with the amazing live band House of Tarab. Looking forward to it a lot!
 *And* I'll be entering the Bellydancer of the Year competition in San Francisco the weekend after that! Eee, exciting!! :D I will be sure to report back in the June Edition!
