We have made it to another year and this year looks like it will be jam-packed with stuff to do, people to meet, and places to go. That includes stuff like the 7^th annual Souper Snow Sculpture Spectacular right outside the Rapids Mall! Teams from around the central Wisconsin area will test their snow shaping skills against each other again this year in just two weeks (assuming there is enough snow.) While you’re their cheering them on, step inside the Centralia Center to get a bowl of soup made by one the area’s best restaurants and donated to South Wood County Humane Society. All proceeds go to help our four-legged friends who need the most help. The cast of the show, David Auburn’s “The Proof” is hard at work rehearsing under the direction of Steve Martin for their opening night performance Friday, February, 24^thwith more shows each night through February 26^th& the following week, March 1^stthrough the 3^rd. Before that the Mead stage will be graced by the Cody Clauson Trio’s Sweethearts show February 10^th, the perfect show to help you celebrate your love for your sweetheart. And then the 4^thannual WRCTTalent Show will be on stage starting the first week of March with auditions March 5^ththrough March 7^th, the preliminary performances will be March 8^th& 9^thand the final show Saturday, March 10^th. If you feel that you have a little talent and wanted to try your hand at winning one of the top prizes; $250, $500 or $750, you can get an application from the WRCToffice now and start practicing. You’ve got a month or two before the talent show auditions are here but those days will be gone before you know it so hurry over today!
