TWG Summer Shows!
Checklist for summer activities:
1. Go to the zoo.
2. Visit the Monkeys.
These are two very different “to do” items! Don’t forget that the summer is a great time to visit Barrel of Monkeys every Monday night for our
“That’s Weird, Grandma” performances at the Neo-Futurarium. You will like it.
Don’t miss the amazing influx of new 2010-2011 stories as they are released following
"Celebration of Authors"!
PLEASE NOTE: Due to Celebration of Authors next week, there will be NO “That’s Weird, Grandma” on Monday, June 6! TWG will return on June 13 and run every Monday through the end of August!
The summer is a fantastic time for the Monkeys to present stories to the public that have only been seen by the students. As BOM performed 15 original shows for students of the Chicago Public Schools, Chicago Park District, and Lincolnwood Elementary (an Evanston Public School), that means there are at least 300 new stories that have been performed and are now eligible to be in “That’s Weird, Grandma” for YOUR viewing pleasure. Oh, the possibilities.
