A new approach to funding
peoplefund.it is a new approach to funding. It enables large numbers of people to commit to backing a new project, possibly with a small amount of money. They only have to pay if the project generates all of its funding. The service makes a charge on successfully funded projects. Unsuccessful projects don’t pay anything. It’s supported by a whole host host of people including NESTA and Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall.
