In this issue:

Media obsession with small business freeze-up and 'winters of discontent' paints a skewed picture.

Yes, some
companies are doing it tough, but others are continuing to thrive. We're delighted to be playing our part in some of that success.

Marketing: get the internet under control

You want to market your business online, but things are getting more complicated and confusing by the minute.

Which -if any - advice should you actually listen to? We asked internet marketing expert Babs Saul to give us some internet marketing guidelines. Hope you these useful.

Test your website's 'you/me' focus

A business web page needs to be about 75% 'them' to 25% 'you'. So if you haven't already checked out the 'we/we' test, take a look now. This is a quick way to tell you whether you're getting it right.

Cut and paste your site url, click and await the results. (And be sure to get in touch with us if you need any help rewriting your web copy)

Compare the copy: 2 Best Words recruitment sites

Look at these 2 recruitment websites we've worked on: Morgan Skye Recruitment and Alexander James

Both short and snappy, yet each with a difference focus. Read the site copy and see how each one reflects the brand of its owner.
