Carol Cronin to Make Presentation at
US SAILING's 2011 One-Design Symposium

How do one-design volunteers best promote an event and/or class? A combination of social media, class specific promotion and good old fashioned face to face communication.

What got you to attend your last event and what do you remember best about it? How do you keep your class in the minds of members and prospective members during the off-season? How do you get articles to appear in sailing and other local media outlets? In Cronin's presentation on 21st Century Communications, she will explore all these topics and discuss the "nuts and bolts" of newsletter design and social media use.

The 2011 US SAILING One-Design Symposium, presented by Gowrie Group, is coming to Bay Head, N.J. at the Bay Head Yacht Club on November 12-13. Check the list of agenda topics and speaker presentation previews.
