On-hold messaging

I recently completed a new fall/winter on-hold message for Mt. Lookout Chiropractic and Sports Injury Center.  On-hold messaging is one area where I will actually build the script as well as providing the voiceover.  I typically start with a client's brochures and website articles on the various topics they ask me to cover in that season's message.  After recording and editing the voiceover, I add music in the background to provide a complete on-hold message to my client.  For an example, listen to this recent on-hold message on my website.

Why is English so hard to learn?
Fire, Plunder, Bag, and Bed

When they sacked me from the job, I sacked the supply cabinet, filling a large sack and then went home and hit the sack.

Listen to this month's example.

Time Management Tip

"Photo Books"

Do you take pictures at family get-togethers or on vacation?  I do and in the past I'd get prints made, write the place, date and people on the back of each picture and then put them in an album, which took a lot of time.  But this past year, I started creating photo books of my vacations and events.  The prices are reasonable and the websites are very easy to use .  You upload your photos, and then use the feature I like the best - autofill or auto-create.  This feature takes the pictures you've uploaded and organizes them into a book.  I don't know how their algorithms work but they always organize it in a way I like.  Often all I need to do to complete the book is change the cover picture and add text on the different pages.  Photo books have really saved me time in organizing my pictures plus I now have fun descriptions where people can see them instead of on the back of a print.

Two sites I recommend using are www.kodakgallery.com and www.mixbook.com.  I especially like Mixbook as they allow you to resize your pictures and add extra text boxes within their standard formats, which the other sites I've used don't allow.
