Some River End clarifications...
Just to clear a few things up based on the first couple of games at PPL Park...

We're there to support the Union. Wear light blue (preferably) or team apparel. No one cares what other teams you support. The wearing of any other team's apparel (regardless of whether we are or ever will play them) can result in being removed from The River End. You're expected to stand up and be loud. And yes, there are flags and smoke in the section. If any of these are a problem for you, call your ticket rep and ask to have your seats moved. If all you want to do is watch a soccer game in peace, there's 16,500 other seats in the stadium that have a better, quieter view. Or they're broadcast on TV.

Racism and throwing things on the field are strictly prohibited. We're going to be strict about this and do a lot of self-policing, because we're being given some leeway from the team. If we can't self-police we're going to have a lot more security around, and no one wants that. If you see someone yelling racist things or throwing things onto the field, get a seat number or get a picture of them and tell us about it. One or two morons can easily ruin it for everyone. These things cannot happen in our section. Period.

We're there to support the team until the final whistle (and hopefully after). A handful of people left after the second goal Saturday. Again, The River End is not for you if you do that.

No big organized tailgate for this one, but we'll be doing a bit of BYOB-ing in our tailgate area. We're going to order a bunch of hoagies and provide them for free for all paid members; make sure you have your card on you. Bring your own drinks; we'll also have some leftover water and soda from Saturday.
If you're planning on wearing green to the match and are normally in The River End, call your ticket rep at 877-21-UNION and ask to have your seat moved.
Any chants or songs based on religion are strictly prohibited and will not be tolerated in The River End.

Tomorrow (Wednesday) is the last day to sign up for tailgate passes. You can get your tailgate passes at sonsofben.ticketleap.com. This is your last reminder. If you wake up Thursday and go "oh crap, I forgot to get passes!" you're SOL. Do it now. The tailgate starts at 11:30 and winds up at 2:00. For those wishing to come help set up, we'll do so at 10:00. Those without parking passes can park in the lot next to the stadium if you get there that early.
