Spreading the Gospel for Only a Penny

You may have loved to count pennies as a child, but now you might sometimes wish that the government would abolish the frivolous coin altogether! But did you know that it could cost as little as one penny for one person to hear the gospel? Find out more about how TWR is sharing truth around the world one person and one penny at a time!

TWR's New Cuban Ministry Video

Recently, a TWR staff member visited Cuba and was able to meet many of our listeners. To see some of them and hear their testimonies, watch this inspiring video on TWR’s Cuban ministry.

From a powerful 100,000-watt transmitter on the island of Bonaire, or a 50,000-watt transmitter in Uruguay, or from more than 500 local radio stations, the biblical message of God's love and forgiveness radiates to millions of needy souls throughout Latin America.

Give to our Latin American
outreach now.

TWR Reaches the Chewa in Africa

TWR-Africa recently received this listener letter sent from central Mozambique. There are a total of almost 10 million Chewa people worldwide. Most of them live in Malawi, and we are reaching many with the gospel through TWR’s Malawi FM network. Many, however, live in Mozambique and are envious of these broadcasts!

This listener is one of them:

“I am a 47-year-old Christian man and a leader of a Baptist Church in a city in central Mozambique. I am writing this letter to let you know that I became a Christian through TWR…

I am from the Chewa tribe of Mozambique, and I would like to request that you establish an FM broadcast in one of the districts in the north of Tete province, in order to proclaim the good news to my fellow Chewa’s  who are lost in darkness…

There is Chichewa preaching on TWR FM in Blantyre, Malawi, but it does not reach all the Chewas in Mozambique, and there is an urgent need to establish a radio station among that tribe. Once established, the broadcast would not reach Chewas only, but also Nyungwes and Nsengas.

I would like to stand and advocate for Chewa’s in Mozambique to TWR.”

The spiritual need in Mozambique is massive, so please pray for the Chewa’s and this pastor. Learn more from TWR-Africa's site
