Thanks to all of you who've bought a shirt recently. We sold 930 Abort73 shirts in November and are closing in on our inventory goals for the end of the year. Tuesday, I moved all of the shirts that we won't be carrying in 2010 to our Clearance Section. You'll find a number of different sizes available – and all for just $5 each. We won't be eliminating any designs, per se, but we will be ending production on a number of color combinations – all of which now appear on our "sales rack". Whichever of the discontinued shirts are still available on December 14 will be reduced to $4, and if any of them are left after Christmas, we'll drop them to $3 on the 28th. Buy now for $5 or take your chances that they'll still be available on the 28th for $3.

The other good news is that we've finally closed the gap between what we've spent on shirt production and what we've made back in sales (and it only took us 11 months to get here!). Lord willing, our adjusted approach to T-shirt sales will keep us in the black for the whole of 2010 (instead of just for the last month) and will help prevent as much cash from being tied up in inventory. I'm extremely optimistic that the changes we're implementing in 2010 will help us make more efficient use of the resources God has blessed us with, but we still have some ground to make up to get there (lest we begin 2010 in a hole). Though shirt sales have finally caught up with spending, we're still a donation-driven ministry. With one month to go, giving has been about $15,000 short of what we'd budgeted for. That's well over what has been our monthly giving average for the year, but God is not bound by averages. He provided more than that in May and he can certainly do it again.
