'Self' Preservation Comes First.

I know that retail therapy is a fairly shallow method of stress release – however when it relates to sports gear it’s a great idea.

No-one surely can be exempt from some stress relating to our shaky ground.

The clinic is safe, up running and our little oasis in the city is a great place to be. I am very fortunate in that I get my shoes sponsored and have just started running in a new pair of Asics DS Trainer. So with my new shoes, and some great technical winter gear, a running buddy and I am all set for some stress relieving exercise.

The gardens even in winter look great, a visual symphony compared to the tormented buildings around. Take time on your visit to the clinic to take a stroll or a run around the park and gardens.

The great news for PodiatryMed is that we have two of Christchurch’s best Physiotherapists now practicing at the clinic. They are both very experienced and add different strengths to the PodiatryMed team. I have worked with both Kama Rowse and Tania MacKay in the past and know that they will enhance significantly the range of treatment options available within the practice. Including muscle balance assessment, appropriate exercise prescription and a range of manual therapy.

Conveniently located now within one practice our podiatry specific Physiotherapists are available to form part of your individual treatment plan. Simply call Bex on 0508 508 508 to make an appointment or discuss Physiotherapy as an option with your PodiatryMed Podiatrist.

Patient Feedback

On Monday 13 June Murray Harford from Springfield was at PodiatryMed for his appointment at the time of the 6.3 earthquake.

Murray says – “that was the first real big shake I experienced in the city. I felt it, the building stood strong, nothing fell over or broke. Bruce and his team evacuated the building quickly and safely – here I am back again a month or so later to receive my excellent PodiatryMed care”.
