Welcome to 2012! ....or as Brillig likes to call it, "The Year of the Dead Cowboy."

We'll be busy bringing new tunes on this theme to life (…so to speak!), with work continuing on our next LP...

In the meantime, hear the fruits of this labour thus far at Brillig's first show of the year, on Saturday 28 January at the Wheatsheaf.

We're playing with good pals Zeptepi, Melbourne's finest apocalyptic folk-rock band! We go way back - sharing the stage as we both journeyed through our "electro pop" days, and respective transitions into gloomy-themed but uplifting folk songs about murder, gambling and drinking! Hurrah! So you see, it's an excellent match. Brillig will open the show with a full set.

It's also been wayyyy too long since Brillig played a show at the awesomeness that is the Wheatsheaf Hotel. (How did THAT happen??) What an absolute joy to be back!

Join the celebration - for free - and let's start this new year properly.
